BMW<\/a>\u00a0revealed the new X5 on Tuesday, including the first all-electric iX5. The iX5 adopts the Neue Klasse style and tech with an impressive range of up to 525 miles on a single charge.<\/p>\n

Meet the first electric BMW iX5 60 xDrive<\/h2>\n

For its fifth generation, the new M5 will be available in five powertrain options, including, for the first time, a battery-electric option.<\/p>\n

Following the iX3 SUV and i3 sedan, the new BMW iX5 is bringing a new look and BMW\u2019s latest Neue Klasse technology.<\/p>\n

While we got a sneak peek at it earlier this week after\u00a0images leaked online<\/a>, BMW officially unveiled the iX5 on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The 2027 BMW iX5 60 xDrive uses BMW\u2019s sixth-generation (Gen6) eDrive system with an 800V architecture, delivering impressive efficiency, charging speeds, and driving range.<\/p>\n

In Europe, it\u2019s powered by a massive 141 kWh battery, providing a WLTP range of up to 525 miles (750 km). While EPA estimates have yet to be finalized, BMW expects the 2027 iX5 60 xDrive, with a slightly larger (144 kWh) battery, will offer a range of around 435 miles.<\/p>\n
