En esta direcci\u00f3n apuntan distintos actores de la industria, incluidos pesos pesados como Samsung. Ahora, investigadores del Instituto Avanzado de Tecnolog\u00eda de Samsung y del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo de la firma coreana en Jap\u00f3n han presentado sus \u00faltimos avances sobre estas bater\u00edas\u00a0y la perspectiva es halag\u00fce\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>Los investigadores han publicado un estudio la revista Nature Energy\u00a0sobre sus \u00faltimos avances en las bater\u00edas con electrolito en estado s\u00f3lido. Los investigadores de la compa\u00f1\u00eda coreana han desarrollado un prototipo de bater\u00eda que permitir\u00eda a un coche el\u00e9ctrico tener <strong>800 kil\u00f3metros de autonom\u00eda por carga<\/strong>, con una vida \u00fatil superior a 1.000 ciclos de carga y descarga.<\/p>\n<p>Las bater\u00edas de estado s\u00f3lido utilizan electrolitos s\u00f3lidos, a diferencia de las bater\u00edas de iones de litio que se utilizan en la actualidad, que permiten <strong>aumentar la densidad energ\u00e9tica y tener bater\u00edas m\u00e1s seguras<\/strong>. Sin embargo, los \u00e1nodos met\u00e1licos de litio que se utilizan en las bater\u00edas de estado s\u00f3lido son propensos a desencadenar el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hibridosyelectricos.com\/articulo\/actualidad\/cazado-culpable-formacion-dendritas-anodo-baterias-litio\/20191016171025030861.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">crecimiento de dendritas<\/a>, las cuales\u00a0pueden producir efectos secundarios poco deseables que reducen la vida \u00fatil y la seguridad de la bater\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Para evitar la creaci\u00f3n de dichas dendritas y sus efectos adversos, los investigadores de Samsung han empleado por primera vez una <strong>capa\u00a0de plata-carbono (Ag-C) en el \u00e1nodo<\/strong>. Los investigadores descubrieron que a\u00f1adiendo una capa de Ag-C, la bater\u00eda pod\u00eda soportar mayor capacidad, tener una mayor duraci\u00f3n\u00a0y mejoraba su seguridad.<\/p>\n<p>Con s\u00f3lo\u00a05 \u00b5m\u00a0de espesor (un micr\u00f3metro es la mil\u00e9sima parte de un\u00a0mil\u00edmetro), esta capa ultra fina de plata-carbono ha permitido <strong>reducir el espesor del \u00e1nodo<\/strong> y aumentar la densidad volum\u00e9trica de energ\u00eda hasta los 900 Wh\/litro.
