La moiti\u00e9 des trains r\u00e9gionaux europ\u00e9ens carburent encore au diesel et ont rejet\u00e9 3,9\u00a0millions de tonnes de CO2 dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re, en 2019.<\/p>\n<h2>Remplacer le diesel<\/h2>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 l\u2019enjeu et les troph\u00e9es, l\u2019entreprise publique de Basse-Saxe vient de changer de rails sans crier gare. Fini l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne jug\u00e9 moins rentable que l\u2019\u00e9lectrique, selon sa derni\u00e8re \u00e9tude de march\u00e9. La LVNG continuera de chasser le diesel \u2013 la fin est pr\u00e9vue pour 2037 \u2013 mais d\u00e9ploiera dor\u00e9navant des trains \u00e9lectriques. Son prochain appel d\u2019offres, \u00e0 l\u2019automne, concernera 102\u00a0trains et l\u2019\u00e9lectrification compl\u00e8te de la ligne Osnabr\u00fcck \u2013 Oldenburg, \u00e0 l\u2019ouest de Br\u00eame et de Hanovre.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00ab\u00a0Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 80\u00a0% plus cher\u00a0\u00bb<\/h2>\n<p>Trop cher le train \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne\u00a0? Oui, et m\u00eame\u00a0<q>\u00a0jusqu\u2019\u00e0 80\u00a0% plus cher que les options \u00e9lectrifications des lignes et train hybride \u00e0 batterie\u00a0<\/q>, selon la conclusion d\u2019une \u00e9tude command\u00e9e par un autre \u00c9tat allemand, le Bade-Wurtemberg, au sud du pays. Mais le fabricant dispose d\u2019autres options et d\u2019un bon carnet de commandes, notamment en Italie qui veut desservir par rail les jeux olympiques d\u2019hiver en 2026 \u00e0 Cortina, au Qu\u00e9bec o\u00f9 le Coradia iLint vient d\u2019entrer en service, ou encore en France o\u00f9 la SNCF a command\u00e9 une douzaine de rames pour quatre r\u00e9gions.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Le puissant Ningdong chinois<\/h2>\n<p>Alstom n\u2019est pas le seul industriel \u00e0 miser sur l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne. Cette alternative\u00a0<q>\u00a0commence \u00e0 ressembler \u00e0 une bulle \u00e9conomique\u00a0<\/q>\u00a0estimait d\u00e9j\u00e0 en octobre l\u2019analyste britannique Michael Liebreich, jetant un froid \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture du Congr\u00e8s mondial de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e0 Rotterdam.<\/p>\n<h2>De l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne\u00a0issu du gaz<\/h2>\n<p>En 2022,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hydrogeninsight.com\/transport\/hydrogen-cannot-be-considered-a-large-scale-solution-for-heating-or-transport-says-energy-system-study\/2-1-1354559\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">plusieurs \u00e9tudes pointaient du doigt<\/a>\u00a0les difficult\u00e9s de passer de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne gris (produit essentiellement \u00e0 partir du gaz, en Allemagne) au vert, issu des \u00e9nergies renouvelables. Si les transports (maritime, train\u2026) l\u2019utilisent massivement, il faudrait cinq fois plus de capacit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9olienne et solaire que celle d\u00e9j\u00e0 install\u00e9e.
